Ottonella Mocellin (Milan, 1966) and Nicola Pellegrini (Milan, 1962) studied Public Art at Chelsea School of Art and Architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, both in London. In 1994 they returned to Italy, where they live and work. After a period of individual creation, in 2002 they decided to work together because, as Ottonella said on one occasion, “What for us is the development of a central theme by two points of view of people in relation.” Solo exhibitios have been dedicatedo to the atrists among which the exhibition at GAM Galleria d’Arte Moderna, Bologna (2001), at Museo Nazionale dei Trasporti, La Spezia (2004), Scuderie di Palazzo Moroni, Padova (2005). As a regard group exhibitions we can mentioned the one at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Rome, Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Turin (2001); Kunsthaus Dresden, Dresde (2002), MACRO, Rome (2004), PAN Palazzo delle Arti, Naples, GNAM Galleria Nazionale d’rte Moderna, Rome (2005); MAMbo – Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna (2008); Museo del Patrimonio Municipal de Malaga, Malaga (2010). They live and work in Berlin.
